About the Role
Field Worker
At this position, the candidate will be working on a dinamic schedule, completing several tasks involved in the construction of a residential home, such as painting, moving construction materials, use several power tools, and more. The candidate will be responsable for the correct completion of the tasks, and the completion of several housing projects.
Requirements
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Provides accurate work on a consistent basis of state standards.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in a work environment by performing various frequently changing
tasks.
Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Ability to stay organized and order materials around the construction site
Have a valid US driver’s license
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:
Continually required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; stand.
Regularly required to walk.
Continually required to use mechanical devices and tools.
Continually required to be exposed to open spaces, directly to the sun up to 4 hours a day.
Occasionally required to sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn wrenches, valves, or
handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities; reach above shoulders; reach to full extension.
